The base is a more stoic brown, and it opens to house a propane tank and other fire pit necessities. The Grandstone fire pit doesn’t have to run on propane, though, as the kit includes all of the tools necessary to change the fuel source to natural gas. You’ll control the flame from the beginning to the end of the night, with a quick electric ignition and a flame controller to temper or heighten the flame, depending on your need.
