Updating Your Outdoor Space

Something that this state of lock-down and isolation has made apparent is that we are renewing our relationships with the great outdoors. I live adjacent to a park with a 3 mile walking trail; where there used to be the occasional walker, runner or bicyclist, now it has a constant stream of masked singles, couples, families, and (unmasked) dogs taking advantage of the paved trail. 

My husband and I have spent untold hours since this began, pulling weeds, raking leaves, transplanting bulbs and just enjoying the feeling of being free, even if the freedom only extends to our own backyard. 

COVID-19 aside, its Spring, which means Summer isn't far behind. And while we may be stuck, secure in our own homes, our imaginations can go anywhere they want. So why not use this time to plan your best backyard ever?
