Stain Free by Natural Chemistry removes trace metal staining without changing the pool balance. The all-natural formula contains industrial strength citric acid that is less expensive than ascorbic acid, and is phosphate-free, so it will not change swimming pool phosphate levels. Non-toxic and ideal for fiberglass pools, Stain Free is compatible with all sanitizers and pool surfaces.

Application:
- Read directions on all Pool Supplies.
- Stain Free will remove stains wherever it lands.
- For direct removal of heavily-stained areas, place a small amount in a sock and scrub the area.
- Do not add additional chlorine during treatment; balance the pool chemicals per bottle instructions.
- IMPORTANT: Non-polymer filter aids must be used with sand and cartridge filters.
- Automatic chlorinators and salt chlorine generators should be turned off. Remove pucks from the skimmers.
- Run pool pump for 24 hours until the process is complete
- Add one (1) pound of Stain Free for every 10,000 gallons of water; for heavy or older stains more can be used.
- IMPORTANT: After one (1) hour add Metal Free.
- Vacuum the pool thoroughly before cleaning the filter.
- Prevent future staining with Metal Free on a weekly basis; 4 oz. per 10,000 gallons of water.
- Do not swim for a period of time after treatment; although non-toxic, there will be no chlorine present in the water.
Notes:
- Once the stain is removed have a pool professional test the iron and copper levels.
- For best results vacuum the swimming pool thoroughly and use a non-polymer filter aid followed by a detailed clean of the filter.
- If no chlorine is present after completing the process, residual metal content could remain in the pool.
