INDIANAPOLIS – It’s a New Year, a new company name and a new website for FamilyLeisure.com. Family Leisure has been a trusted name in the home and leisure products industry since 1967. After adding their e-commerce division in 2009, they operated as a single entity with physical locations as well as an online presence.
In order to better serve the ever-increasing amount of online customers, a separate business has been created solely for the purpose of handling online transactions.
Although the e-commerce department has been operational for three years, Jan. 1, 2012, marked the start of FamilyLeisure.com, Inc.; with not only a new name, but a new address, warehouse, website, staff and online focus.
Customers can still expect high-quality Outdoor Patio Furniture, Hot Tubs, Swimming Pools, Supplies and other fun items they and their family members have come to know and love with Family Leisure. But the online focus of the new company ensures web visitors receive the best customer service, efficient deliveries and more product options, all from a website that offers a faster response and a better overall user experience.
Despite this new venture, the new company offshoot isn’t leaving its central Indiana home, bringing numerous new jobs to Indianapolis.
“The new online location will share some resources with our neighboring Indianapolis brick and mortar location, but offers a new website with an enhanced look, faster load times and better navigation,” said Noah Williams, vice president of FamilyLeisure.com, Inc. “Our new website has a cleaner and more organized look and feel, similar to other recognizable national retail websites.”
FamilyLeisure.com Inc. isn’t stopping with just a new website, though. They will also be operating out of a new warehouse.
“Our new warehouse ensures a larger offering of in-stock items for faster delivery, while our enhanced focus promises every online visitor receives the best care and attention,” Williams said.
While FamilyLeisure.com Inc. offers a new online experience for local and national customers, visitors should expect the same high-quality products and services offered at the existing store locations. FamilyLeisure.com is owned and operated by Kevin Prefontaine, son of Andy Prefontaine who opened the first Indianapolis location in 1985. Family Leisure will continue to be a family owned business with a focus on quality, selection and service.
