The Ice Guard Plate is a skimmer closure system that blocks the water from reaching any standard sized simmer. This prevents ice damage that commonly occurs during winter months. The skimmer is a valuable piece in above ground pools, and it must be fully winterized. It is placed directly inside the skimmer faceplate. Installaton is easy and there is no need for tools. Fits right in just like a cork.
