The Cortland Cushion Collection showcases an elegant transitional style, offering a mix of design elements from the history of antique furniture. Modernized versions of traditional motifs shine, such as the dramatically scrolled hand rests, wonderfully comfortable tufted cushions and the backrest double "x" pattern which recalls the streamlined geometric forms of French Art Deco furniture. Woodard craftsmen take these various classic forms and perfectly mix them to create a completely modern package of picturesque patio furniture. And Woodard thought about outdoor function, creating these pieces from aluminum that offers the perfect combination of weight and strength. They finish the production process with a multi-stage finish that adds layers of ionized rust inhibitors, color and a sealer to protect against the dangers of outdoor use.
