Taking their environmental concerns a step further, Ebel has been partnered with Trees for the Future since 2008. This organization is committed to advancing sustainable agroforestry in developing countries. In an effort to offset carbon emissions, Ebel, Inc. has committed to plant one tree for every piece of furniture they produce. Trees for the Future have planted nearly 50 million trees, estimated to remove one million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere every year; Ebel has contributed over 85,000 of those trees.
For the past 7 years, Ebel has also printed all of their marketing materials in a facility that has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, an organization whose mission is to promote environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable forestry practices.
