The Hickory Square Backless Bar Stool is born of a process that is trustworthy, respectful and assures quality. Fireside Lodge cultivates renewable forests in the southeastern United States, and picks the Hickory logs from those renewable forests. They treat the logs respectfully, and Hickory logs are left with the barn on the logs. This means that every Hickory Square Backless Bar Stool has its own special originality and character because of the natural growing process. The logs are kiln dried to reach a specific moisture content and coated with a clear coat finish for durability and total visibility of the natural character of the Hickory wood. All of Fireside’s wood waste is used to make beautiful landscape mulch, the process is in compliance with the Air Resources Board, and every part of every tree is used. The upholstery that sits atop the Hickory logs features warm colors and design and adds a hint of upscale style to the rustic legs.
