The wheels allow you to move it around your patio furniture as needed to ensure your shade is in the right place. The Pentagon w/ Wheels Cast Umbrella Base has a cast iron core which is surrounded by a cast aluminum shell. It is further protected by an exclusive powder-coating, in your choice of bronze or black.
