Of the Vin de Flame fire pits, the Moderna Wine Barrel Fire Pit Table is medium-sized, and stands apart from the others because of its mid-century appearance. The base is made entirely from a retired wine barrel that has been reclaimed by Vin de Flame and given special attention and treatments for its new job as a fire pit, and special treatments for extended outdoor placement. The Metal version of the Moderna comes with two tabletop choices: metal with a copper finish, or metal with a pewter finish. You choose the heat capacity of your fire pit, with bruner options ranging from 40,000 BTU to 110,000 BTU. And, you’ll also decide the fuel source for the burner. Vin de Flame offers choices of natural gas and propane. When it’s all fired up and going, the Moderna offers three different flame settings that you may toggle between as the night goes on. The flames will dance on a bed of natural-looking fire stones. The craftsmen at Vin de Flame put everything together by hand.
