The Concord is a media console and fireplace two-in-one combination piece. It is designed and constructed by Dimplex, the maker of fine electric fireplaces in many shapes, sizes and formats. The Concord is a member of the media console family, which pairs media console stations with built-in fireplaces. The Concord fireplace features a visual flame show that is not produced by actual flames. The flames, then, give off no heat, and the heat source is a fan-forced heater that is controlled by a thermostat. This allows users to choose to illuminate the flame show, engage the heater, both, or neither, at any time by using the handy remote control. The Concord media console is made to house a flat screen television that measures up to 60’’, and provides ample storage space for media accessories. You’ll enjoy the infrared remote control feature, which allows the remote control to reach behind closed doors. Also, the Concord rests on hidden casters so that in can be easily moved without scratching and scuffing your floors.
