This passive solar heating system eliminates the need for hard-to-handle above ground pool covers and massive solar reels! The Solar Heating Pads by Warm Water Pools will transfer solar heat into your pool during the day while trapping heat inside your pool overnight. The top surface of these heating pads is made from state-of-the-art material that transfers solar heat from the sun to pool water, with a bottom surface filled with air pockets to keep the solar pads on the water's surface. Each tube comes with two (2) 5' hexagon shaped tiles/pads; 70%-80% pool coverage is recommended for best results (see bullet points below). Each pad connects to the next pad with easy-to-use and familiar Velcro, which promotes rafting by the connecting pads, so instead of fumbling with that bulky pool cover you can install and remove your pool cover in a few moments.
