Use a Winter Pill for clear pool water all winter
Maintaining your pool water throughout the winter can be a hassle, but the Winter Pill from Family Leisure is designed to make it easy. This pool winterizer in the form of a floating pill will help prevent the build up of hard metals and scaling while keeping the water clean and clear of bacteria and other organisms.
How does this helpful winter pool supply work? Natural enzymes are released over time from the pill, breaking down organic material that causes your water to become cloudy and gross. The pill also releases a natural sequestering agent, preventing metals such as iron, calcium and magnesium from staining your pool hardware and pool liner.
Being a non-toxic natural enzyme, the winter pill works with all winter pool chemicals and pool surfaces. The process is easy:
- How large is your pool? Do you require the 30,000 gallon pill? Or do you need the 15,000 gallon pill?
- Shake the pill. Remove the piercing tool included in the pill's package. There should be a push-pin in the piercing tool; pull the push-pin out of the tool. Insert the pointed end of the blue piercing tool into the recessed area of the cap found in the pill.
- Holding the pill, press the piercing tool into a hard surface, such as the ground, until the piercing tool breaks the plastic cap in the recessed area of the pill. Remove the blue piercing tool.
- Holding the pill over a skimmer, use the push-pin to pierce one of the many indents found all over the pill. Just pierce one indent!
- Place the Winter Pill in the swimming pool water. You're done! Your pool will now recieve pool chemicals throughout the winter automatically as the pill floats.
